Filmmaker Jake Kasdan is reuniting with his Jumanji star Dwayne Johnson for Red One , the unique Christmas-themed feature project set up at Amazon. Hiram Garcia, the President of production of Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions created the original story which is now being translated into a script by Chris Morgan, who previously worked with Johnson on four Fast and Furious movies as well as the Johnson-led 2019 spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw . According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon picked up the project in June. The details are being kept in the sack but Red One , which is a tentative title, is described by Amazon as “a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy, imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre.” Johnson is attached to star, possibly even as Santa himself, and is producing with his Seven Bucks Productions cohorts, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia. Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui was awarded with Excellence in Cinema Award at the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night held in Dubai on October 28. Katrina Kaif and Rohit Shetty are all set to join Salman Khan on the upcoming Bigg Boss 15 Weekend Ka Vaar episode. They will be coming for the promotions of their upcoming film Sooryavanshi . A new promo for the episode shows Katrina’s banter with Salman during a game. In the promo, Katrina is seen arriving on stage in a saree, along with Rohit Shetty. As part of a game, she and Salman sit across a table with Rohit playing the judge. English actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Irish actress Fiona Shaw are confirmed to join the ensemble cast of John Krasinski‘s upcoming untitled fantasy-comedy for Paramount. In addition to directing and writing the high-profile movie, Krasinski will also be starring opposite Ryan Reynolds, as previously announced. While the plot details are kept under wraps, the story is said to be based on an original idea of Krasinski’s about a child’s journey to rediscover their imagination. Waller-Bridge is the Emmy-winning creator of the hit British series Fleabag and Killing Eve (she also starred in the former). The British writer-actress-producer is currently in production on Indiana Jones 5 and contributed to the script of the latest James Bond film, No Time to Die .
