Kangana Ranaut reveals she had to mortgage all her property to complete her film Emergency; says, “Possessions hold no meaning for me”

One cannot deny that Kangana Ranaut is one of the most bold and audacious actress we have in our film industry. The actress recently opened up regarding the difficulties she had faced in order to complete her upcoming film Emergency. Kangana Ranaut's Emergency is all set to enter post-production stage as it wraps the shoot. A party to celebrate this occasion was organized on Wednesday where the actress also interacted with media where she also spoke about mortgaging possessions to complete Emergency. Several clips of of Kangana speaking about her mortgage were shared on several pages, in which Kangana told reporters, " I always accomplish a task if I set out to do something. Mortgaging all my property to complete Emergency is not a big deal for me as I take big decisions within minutes. The only struggle was visiting banks constantly during the shoot, which also hampered our work." Kangana also revealed that she did not care if she lost all her possession after the movie release. She said, “I came to Mumbai with only Rs. 500, so even if I am completely ruined, I have the confidence and strength to stand up on my feet once again. Possessions hold no meaning for me." The actress, who is also donning the director’s hat, will essay the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Anupam Kher will be portraying the role of the leader JP Narayan. Actor Shreyas Talpade will be essaying the important role of the late politician Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who served three terms as the country’s Prime Minister. In the pipeline, Kangana also has Tejas, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda, The Incarnation: Sita, a biopic on Bengali theatre personality Noti Binodini and Chandramukhi 2.
