The IMAX has emerged as an enticing format for moviegoers over the years. Yet, getting a release in the giant IMAX screens can be a challenge, especially if the film is released on the same day as another IMAX-friendly Hollywood biggie. In the past, ’83 (2021) couldn’t be released in IMAX theatres since it arrived in theatres a week before Spider-Man: No Way Home and two days before The Matrix Resurrections. In the weekend gone by, The Marvels released in IMAX screens for just two days – on Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11.
