Has Ranbir Kapoor hiked his fee to Rs. 65 crores but given a discount to Sanjay Leela Bhansali?

Ranbir Kapoor, currently riding high with the success of Animal, has apparently hiked his fee from Rs. 30 crores to Rs. 65 crores after the Sandeep Reddy Vanga movie. But he has apparently given his Christopher Columbus, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, a substantial discount. For the unversed, Ranbir stars in Bhansali’s next titled Love And War along with wife and actress Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.

An A-lister leading man tells the story of an A-lister who was offered a fairly impressive amount for a pivotal part in a project. The actor agreed to the price being offered on one condition: the market should not get to know that the actor sliced his price.

It’s all about perception. However, the market reality is that Ranbir has outpriced Ranveer Singh. Yes, Ranbir is most likely to have hiked his price drastically. Animal has taken his stardom to from Level 2 to Level 5. Whether the hike is what it is being made out to be, we wouldn’t really know.

The only star-actor who refuses to hike his fee is Kartik Aaryan. His logic is simple. If he is not lowering his price after a failure, why would he hike his remuneration after a success?
