Govinda reveals TRUTH behind fallout with Krushna Abhishek; latter says, “My seven years of Vanvaas ended”

After years of silence, superstar Govinda has finally spoken on the fallout with nephew Krushna Abhishek. The duo, whose strained relationship was a hot topic in the entertainment industry, recently reunited on Netflix's The Great Indian Kapil Show. The moment, marked by an emotional hug on stage, brought closure to a seven-year feud that had divided their families.

What Led to the Rift? During the show, Govinda candidly shared the events that triggered the fallout. Recalling the incident from 2016, he said, "Ab main sach keh deta hoon (now let me tell you the truth). One day, I was very angry with him. I asked, 'What are these dialogues they make him write?' My wife, Sunita, said, 'The whole film industry does this. Don't say anything to Krushna. He is making money and let him do his work. Kisi ke liye aap stoppage nahi kijiye, kisi se wrong mat kijiye (Don't stop someone, don't do something wrong).' So I would like to say about her, 'You say sorry to her, she loves.'”

Krushna, visibly emotional, responded, "Yes, yes, I love her too. If there's any such feeling, then I am sorry. I love you very, very much."

Krushna's Emotional Outburst Breaking character for the first time, Krushna expressed his feelings on the stage, saying, "Today is one of the most special days, one of the most memorable days. My seven years of Vanvaas ended today by sharing the stage with my uncle. I think this is one of the best moments. Everyone was hoping for it too." A Feud That Made Headlines The fallout began when Govinda felt disrespected by one of Krushna's jokes in 2016. Matters worsened when Krushna’s wife, Kashmera Shah, posted a tweet referencing "individuals dancing for money," which was perceived as a dig at Govinda. In response, Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, publicly stated that she would not appear on the Netflix version of The Kapil Sharma Show due to the feud. She even remarked that reconciliation between the families seemed impossible. A Heartwarming End Despite the bitter past, the reunion on The Great Indian Kapil Show became a heartwarming spectacle. Govinda appeared alongside Shakti Kapoor and Chunky Panday, delivering a mix of comedy and nostalgia. However, the highlight of the episode was undoubtedly the family reunion that delighted fans across the country.
