Departure from Television Industry Earlier this year, Kavita announced her departure from television, citing dissatisfaction with its regressive content. She explained to Times Now, "There was a time when TV was progressive and we had different kinds of shows. But now, the kind of content we're showing is really bad for the young generations to watch. I have been a part of it as well and I am very sorry. I have contributed to that regression in some way."
She expressed her openness to exploring roles in films or web series, distancing herself from mainstream television.
