A. R. Rahman nearly rejected Slumdog Millionaire on manager’s advice, composed songs in secret; says, “Sometimes, people confuse you but you have to think what you have to do”

AR Rahman created the soundtrack for the Oscar-winning 2008 film Slumdog Millionaire. Its iconic song ‘Jai Ho’ brought him two Academy Awards—for Best Original Score and Best Original Song—along with several other accolades.
