Filmmaker Karan Johar has opened up about being called names for his effeminate body language in college. Johar, who made his directorial comeback with the recent release Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, said that the experience stayed in his heart and continues to do so. In an interview with Film Companion, Johar said that he was "very effeminate" as a child and used to dance in his own room to Hindi songs. He said that his father, Yash Johar, thought it was "great" and would often watch him dance and clap. However, things changed when he went to college. He asserted, “No one told me there was anything wrong at that time. So I grew up thinking (that) this is fine.
